
The portable media player with a GPS navigator was manufactured by Viliv named X5 AIO. With an 800×480 LCD screen, the X5AIO runs on a Au1250 processor at 700Mhz. The special part about this system is, the GPS antenna embedded as opposed to flip-out style. The X5 AIO also plays digitally broadcast TV channels thanks to its DMB receiver. It will come in two versions, a 30GB and a 60GB one.

This is the leaked image of the new Nokia E71. This device is very well included with WiFi, HSDPA , and a 3.2MP camera, and of course the embedded GPS – seems like Nokia is determined to put a GPS receiver in each one of their devices. Nokia E71 will use Nokia Maps 2.0 as well. You need to pay an amount of fees to get turn-by-turn directions, download city guides with millions of points of interest.

This is the Bendix/King KSN 770 Next Generation GPS/NAV/COMM and it’s build for aircrafts. The KSN770 merge with a IFR GPS navigator, integrated TAWS, weather radar display and a 16-watt digital VHF comm. It also features a large, high-resolution display on which it can show a comprehensive moving map. The Bendix/King name is Honeywell.

LG had announced another new addition to the LN series at CES 2008 which was the LN845. It has a sharp 4.3″ screen, 5 hours battery life, and bluetooth phone pairing for handsfree calls. The only difference compare to the LN855 is that LG LN845 does not have a TMC receiver for traffic updates. There isn’t any pricing yet for this device but hopefully all of us can get some information about it by march 2008

This is something new in the world. The G400 has an actual alcohol sensor on its side and can tell you the amount of alcohol per liter in your blood. One of the well known brand in Korea’s pc-TG had just came out with a GPS navigation device that includes many other features for the user. It’s called the TG Favicon. It’s actually a “semi-portable” due to its rather large 7″ screen. TG Favicon has dual DMB receiver meaning you can watch two channels at the same time, and it offers TPEG traffic, and support for various multimedia formats.

Altina had release a navigation device called the A800. With a large TFT LCD display measuring 4.3″. The CPU is from Samsung 2440 400 MHz, and uses the popular GPS chipset from SiRFStar III. It has the most basic multimedia features such as picture viewing and listening MP3s.

Samsung introduced a new slider phone called by the name M520. M520 is GPS capable and the navigation service is provided by TeleNav. The navigation system features audio and visual turn-by-turn driving directions, and more than 10 million local listings. Additional features of the M520 by Samsung include stereo Bluetooth with audio caller ID, audio player, 1.3MP camera with 2x digital zoom and camcorder. Also it has supports microSD cards up to 4GB.

Check out this cool device here. Rockwell Collins has introduced the GPS navigation system equipped helmet. ParaNav integrates a full-color display that attaches directly to goggles or helmet shields. The idea with ParaNav is to give the Marine accurate navigation capabilities and situational awareness in the air and have them pinpoint their landing zones. Apparently the Marines put in an order for 3000 of these hi-tech helmets for parachutists.
