
This little clip-on device is called Photo GPS for adding location information to your photos. As geotagging becoming popular, German’s Jobo also released its own geotagging device. Once it gets a satellite fix, the unit works separately from your camera.
The matching and merging process works once you connect the device to your computer via the mini-USB port. First, you need to download the images and the data from Photo GPS to your computer. The software matches the location with the images using the timestamp and accordingly edits the EXIF data.
