The very much anticipated TomTom Rider 2nd edition is on the market now, pricing at $999. With a built-in antenna, TomTom Rider has an integrated GPS receiver based on SiRF Star III with 20 channel all-in-view tracking.
The improved version has rugged and durable design, clear LCD display, improved audio, Cardo scala-rider Bluetooth. However, the power button sometimes unresponsive. Overall, the Rider 2nd edition improves a lot compared to its predecessor. Though it is not flawless, the Rider still manage to avoid most of the key obstacles that hamper other units.
