Dash Navigation’s Dash Express connects to Wi-Fi, cellular

Dash Navigation unveiled its latest GPS unit, Dash Express which can draw data from Wi-Fi hotspots and its own built-in cellular connection. Featuring a 4.3-inch, touchscreen color display with 480 x 272 resolutions, Dash Express is meant to provide users with information on local traffic, road conditions and, even gasoline prices.

The built-in GPRS and Wi-Fi give users instant and direct access to information about what’s happening along the highways and arterial roads which they suppose to travel. In addition, Dash Express automatically informs users whenever traffic conditions change unexpectedly.

Dash Express is scheduled to ship in February 2008 and can be preordered for $ 599, which includes three months of wireless service.
