Asus unveiled its own GPS portable navigation device – R700t, which features the normal array of GPS functions.
R700t is very slim indeed, measuring 128×80x13.2mm. Weighing only 200 grams, R700t is a very compact and tiny GPS device with 4.3-inch 65k color TFT touchscreen boasting a resolution of 480×272 pixels. Other distinguish features include Bluetooth 2.0, 3D navigation routes, traffic message channel, MP@ and video playback, picture browsing, 64MB RAM and 1GB flash-ROM memory with MicroSD expansion up to 4GB. Not to mention that R700t features another effective function, Location Alarm that reminds you when you are in surrounding area of a particular task you have fed into the GPS unit.
The GPS unit is only available in Taiwan at $394.
