The Hop-On Wireless from California State has announced to release a new cellular phone which would be known as the HOP1883. Although the gadget is known to be equipped with all the general features that any ordinary phone comes with in the market, but the specialty lies in its inclusion of the GPS connectivity. Equipped with the popular SiRF Star III GPS receiver, this hand phone allows tri-band 900/1800/1900MHz GSM that targets both the local as well as the International market. Among its various features include a 2.8 inch screen with 240 x 329 resolution QVGA display and a 2 megapixels camera. The SiRFStar III GPS chipset loaded within the gadget definitely comes first among the numerous characteristics found in the Hop1883.

The company has not yet confirmed anything about its release into the market as rumour have it that the gadget is still under the process of production. As a result its estimated prices are yet unknown as well. Whatever it is, the Hop1883 will undeniably assist the elders to keep track of their little ones that’s for sure.
