The Palm has been reported lately to display its latest device, the GPS navigator at the CTIA 2007 Wireless show held at San Francisco. Known for its production of GPS for PDA’s and smartphones, Palm has been into the business for quite a few years now. During the show this week, the company’s newest addition o the GPS Navigator has been shown that uses the Garmin software unlike the navigating and mapping software TomTom of the previous editions. Garmin however has not been newly introduced to Palm. The software is especially compatible with Palm OS ad Windows Mobile and it works in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. The microSD card within the device assists in the storage of the mapping software. Additionally, you can also use the miniSD and the standard SD card adapters for Treos for storing added stuffs from the software.
Features, apart from the GPS navigation included within the gadget that comes with the Palm receivers are voice prompted direction, over 6 millions of point of interest, updated traffic alert, current fuel prices as well as weather forecast.
