The new Navigation device from Lowrance is known as the XOG. Equipped with almost all the features as found in any ordinary GPS gadget, the Lowrance XOG however boasts to be a very versatile device as it can be used in any mode of transportation that is not only limited to cars but also include boats as well as the outdoors of the hiking tracks. Due to the presence of 3 million POI destinations, integrated turn-by-turn NAVTEQ street navigation details with voice and visual assistance, plug-n-play maps including the FreedomMaps Fishing Hot Spots PRO, LakeMaster ProMaps and NauticPath into the device, navigating is made fun and simple with the new XOG. Additionally, the users can also download maps from the Lowrance Company and Navteq that contain greater details on the topographic data, BLM mapping, aerial imagery and the US satellite.

 

Other features within the XOG include a 3.5 inch 16-bit colour touch-screen display with a resolution of 320 x 24V pixels, 12 channel GPS antenna, SD memory slot, built-in speakers, super-bright white LED backlit screen and 3 mapping display options to from. The releasing date and pricing for the GPS device has not yet been confirmed by the company.
