The world renowned brand Nokia’s newest addition to the N-Series is the N800 Internet tablet. Equipped with WiMAX as well as GPS, the N800 has been announced to be released into the market by the beginning of next year. The speciality of this particular tablet from the N-series includes the contribution of another prominent brand Intel in its making. Intel has announced to contribute its own Baxter Peak WiMAX chip into the device.
The N800 being the next generation N-Series will also be supplemented with GPS technology. The integrated GPS within the tablet will surely attract the buyers. Nokia may also come up with a non-WiMAX edition of the tablet that is equipped with only GPS. The North American customers are likely to be able to grab this gadget by the early 2008. Other important features include a 800×480 touch screen with 16 but colour display, 330MHz TI OMAP 2420 CPU, 128MB SDRAM, 256MB Flash memory and it supports a wide rage of languages from English ( US and UK), Spanish, French, Danish, Swedish to Finnish, Russian, Dutch, Norwegian and a list of others. All these come under a size of 5.67” x 2.95” x 0.51”.
