GPS technology recently has been known to contribute to the Alzheimer’s patient that is the contemporary threat to the world. The small bracelet wrapped across the patient named Bob Melnick’s wrist provides relief to his wife to help her to track her husband if ever he is lost. One of the most distressing characteristics of the Alzheimer’s patients is to wander about which can lead to danger for the patients most of the times. The innovative GPS technology can now help to bring the patients back home with the help of its satellite enabled tracking system.
From the basic radio wave signals that costs only $10 to the ultra superior GPS devices, every demand has been promised to be fulfilled by a number of mini-industry technologies only for the Alzheimer’s patients.
Furthermore, researches are being carried out to help resolve additional GPS facilities that will suit any Alzheimer’s patient according to the environment the patient is located.
Director of the Centre for Aging Services Technologies, Majid Alwan believes that the GPS technologies that will support the Alzheimer’s patients need to be assessed further. The Centre for Aging Services Technologies is an association of the various universities, high tech companies and the government.
