
Delphi Corporation has introduced its latest portable GPS navigation system – the NAV300. The state of the art device is built with the most advanced hardware technology and sophisticated software that merges with it. It has made some enhancements on the previous version of the device – the NAV200 and has expanded on the numerous industry-leading features that were offered in its predecessor which was launched back in 2006.
The NAV300 comes along with built it maps of the continental U.S, Alaska, Canada, Hawaii as well as Puerto Rico. The calculations that are required to determine the driving directions are done with the NAVTEQ, which is considered to be one of the most reliable mapping databases that have been available till date. The other features that come along with the NAV300 are Text-to-Speech (TTS) that calls out the street names and provides the users with directions in every turn during navigation to ensure the highest safety. The NAV300 also enables the drivers to save favourite locations and add voice commands by the systems “My Favourites” functionality.
