V7 has revealed a “new” model of their GPS navigator in the form of NAV720, which has just two more added features than its previously revealed NAV700. Personally I do not see the reason behind revealing a new model if just only to add two more common features onto the device. But I guess V7 is trying to give the lower budget market group a chance to own a GPS navigator as well.
Basically the NAV720 is similar to the NAV700, where it has a 4” TFT touch screen which features a really sharp display for viewing and navigation purposes. The GPS receiver in the NAV720 is still the SiRF Star III receiver which is very signal sensitive. The processor that is powering it is the 400 Megahertz Samsung 2440. The two newly added features are the Bluetooth for hands free calling and the Traffic Messaging Channel. The price has not been mentioned yet, but should be a tad more than the NAV700.
