Would you be surprise to find a copy of the “GPS For Dummies” book on your local bookstore’s shelf? Probably not, since almost every other GPS navigator makers are trying to sell you one as it is. But would you be surprised if the creator of the “For Dummies” range of tech-explaining books is working on a GPS Navigation for Dummies satnav system that everyone should be able to use. Whether it will be available on bookshelves or gadget shelves is yet to be known.
What is known is that it will boast a 3.5” touch screen and 2 million point-of-interests storage. “Dummies” will also be supplied with 2 gigabytes of storage space in the form of a memory card as well as ability to listen to MP3 just in case they get stressed out trying to figure out the controls. The GPS Navigation for Dummies is a collaboration between May Long and Wiley just in case anyone is wondering how reliable a device from a publishing company could be.
