EMTAC product distributor, Transplant GPS, Inc. has just recently announced the availability of GPS navigation software for Palm OS in the form of EMTAC Navigator 4.0 for your low cost, full featured navigation solution. Users of the Palm OS PDA and Palm OS Treo smart phones can expect to have EMTAC Navigator 4.0 pre-loaded on a 2 Gigabyte mini-SD card which sees improvement in routing, map rendering and other increased functionality. With the Software installed, users will still have 900 Megabytes of storage space available.
What users can expect is an easy installation for the EMTAC Navigator 4.0 on their Palm as the mini-SD card can just be slotted into it and with some simple on screen instruction setups the program is ready to be used. The software on its own is retailing for $149.99. Also featured is the EMTAC Navigator 4.0 Palm OS Bundle for non-Palm users which includes together with the software the EMTAC mini-S3 Bluetooth GPS and retails at a price of $229.99.
