This time around, the story is Mio Technology doing a cross over to the PDA market with their GPS devices. What they are offering is the Mio P350 which is what they call a stylish looking Pocket PC with embedded GPS receiver. It is fully equipped with PDA functionality including Microsoft Office suite and is also compatible with Windows Mobile 5 navigation software. Users can also listen to music, watch videos or play games on the Mio P350 during their free time.
Specification wise, it runs on a 400 MHz Samsung 2440 processor 168 Megabytes of ROM and 64 Megabytes of SDRAM. As for the built-in GPS module, it runs on a 20-channel SiRFStarIII chipset. The display for this device comes in the form of a 3.5” anti-glare LCD screen which also doubles up as a resistive type touch panel. The price for this double delight is a pretty reasonable $339.95 for the functionality that it offers.
