The GPS data transmission to your device is done through Bluetooth which sends information direct to the Garmin Mobile XT mapping software. The functions Garmin Mobile 10 can offer are almost similar to most standalone GPS navigators like calculation of route to desired destination, voice prompted turn-by-turn directions through your device’s speakerphone as well as visual directions through the mapping software downloaded on your device.
