News on new releases of GPS devices are getting a little slow, so lets go fishing! Or at least that is what some of the tournament fishermen are currently doing with their handy GPS navigator at their side. And so we discover another use of the trusty GPS navigator in sports; that is if you consider fishing a sport.
It seems that the old ways of fishing, the ways of our grandfathers and fathers, are becoming obsolete as tournament fishermen striving to be top of their game rely heavily on technology to get them there. So how does the GPS figure into the whole fishing thing? The fishermen will go and seek their sweet spots out on the lake or sea where the catch is great and key in the position into their GPS device. The next time they are looking for a similar catch, the information will be all in their GPS device and ready to take them on another round of great fishing.
