The PalmNavi F3501 is the latest offering from TrendSonic Technology which is Taiwanese company showcasing at the recent Computex 2007 in Taipei. As can be seen, this GPS device comes in a clean rounded case with its buttons neatly arranged at the bottom of the screen and with OEM and color selections according to its site. The screen is a 3.5” TFT LCD which is a rather standardized sizing amongst the GPS devices on offered these days. It relies on touch screen and joystick for users to enter the destination with a flip up GPS antenna to enhance reception.
Function wise, the PalmNavi F3501 provides a crystal 2D and 3D user interface graphics display for better navigation with clear and accurate voice instructions to help user navigate the turns with ease. The battery life for this device is said to be 8 hours which should be sufficient for average trips.
