With an inter-galactic design, the Qstarz’s BT-Q1000 GPS Data Log is said to be the first ever travel recorder which consist of both a track logger and a navigation device. The device which will cost only USD$ 199 is said to be available starting on the 22nd June 2007. The cool thing about BT-Q1000 is that you are able to not only navigate and record your path but display your route to an audience on Google Earth with pictures containing corresponding GPS data included. Most importantly, its battery life is claimed to be able to afford you up to 32 hours of operation.
Other features includes Point of Interest recording through the press of the red button, multi mode settings which allows differentiation of driving, biking and jogging and basic advanced and professional mode for log mode. It also allows you to record up to 100,000 way points. Last but not least, the BT-Q1000 which runs on a MTK chipset is able to offer you simultaneous access to a whooping 32 satellites.
