GPS on an Umbrella?

Imagine you are the character in an RPG game and you have the map of the game world appear as a screen in front of you while you navigate along the path to your destination. How cool would it be if you can have that appear in front of you in the real world?

Now with the Pileus Internet Umbrella, this can be almost close to possible. The only catch is that your screen is projected on the inside of the umbrella itself. So what is this Pileus Internet Umbrella? It is not some virtual reality gadget for the game world but an actual built-in GPS system in an umbrella which is able to show your current location and directions to your destination.

Features on this umbrella include, a motion sensor, GPS, digital compass and a built-in camera which not only provides 3D Map Navigation function but also a Social Photo-sharing ability. Google Earth powers its Map Navigation function which obtains data from the GPS to provide a bird’s eye view of the area around the user. Cool factor aside, perhaps this will help make carrying an umbrella on a sunny day for guys seem acceptable if not for the sake of skin cancer awareness.
