Tiny cars, commonly known as ‘kei’ cars, are a hit in Japan. Many also know Kenwood as a producer of great sound systems. What does Kenwood and tiny cars have in common? It is a weird connection but it is here.
Kenwood has this new device, MNA 350 which is a GPS device and also a CD player aimed at tiny cars. People with double DIN slots in their SUV’s might love to have one of these as well. This unit uses 50W of power drawn from the car battery. Its LCD is a 3.5 inch touch screen that supports address and phone number look ups, mp3, AAC and WMA support and optional iPod integration.
There is also a front mounted 1/8 inch aux input. To make it more interesting, there is a card reader enabling you to play songs from SD cards. There are no news regarding the price yet but this device will only be available in Japan.
