Mio just released a new GPS navigation with DMB receiver which is used to watch TV and even included DMB recording capability in this new device. C317 has a 4,3 inch LCD and features SiRF Star III GPS receiver like its predecessor.
However, Mio forgot about one thing, the hard disk. Without large storage of a hard disk, user will have to rely on high capacity memory cards to store their shows. This device supports SD and MMC cards up to 8 GB.
The battery is a 2100 mAh battery which last about 5.5 hours for navigation and 4 hours of TV. This device will only be available to Korean market at the moment. No news about its availability in other places. Pricing is also not available for comment. Let’s just hope that this product will begin shipping to the overseas market soon.
